Pistons win!!

The Detroit Pistons overcame the Indiana Pacers at home yesterday, winning a 96-80 Basketball game.

Richard Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, and Tayshaun Prince, scored 14 points each.  Johnson scored a few and added a lot of practice to his resume.

Rookies Rodney Stuckey and Arron Afflalo have been getting better and have been building some chemistry with players like Amir Johnson, and other young players.

Detroit will host the Magic at home for an exciting game, and they will need to use teamwork to beat the team from florida..

Big Win Over Bobcats

The Detroit pistons keep on improving, as they keep winning at home and on the road. Their latest victim - Charlotte Bobcats.

The pistons opened the game early, making shots successfuly which has made them gain a 12 point lead that grew as the game progressed. detroit scored 12 three pointers out of a total of 24 attempts, which just shows how well the detroit boys can play.

Freshman Stuckey scored 13 while veteran Jarvis scored 10.  He was happy with the way that detroit has been playing. Good, because we are happy to have Hays.

Outcome - win

That is exactly what happened when the weak Miami Heat came to Detroit. Shaq was in Phoenix and Marion was not helping Wade, who scored 30 points. He committed four turnovers in the fourth quarter that may have cost him the game.

Chauncey scored 15 points and added 10 assists to help the Pistons improve to a division best record.

Sheed’ skipping out on all star?

the NBA announced that Pistons Power Forward will replace Kevin Garnett at the All-Star game, but Sheed wasnt too happy about it. According to reports, sheed had planned a vacation during that time, but he thinks that this time, he will do it for the kids.

Chauncey, Hamilton named All Stars

The Detroit Pistons got very good news late last week as guard Chauncey Billups and guard Richard Hamilton were named to the Eastern Conference All Star team, which will be held in New Orleans on February 16. For both of them, it is their 3rd straight trip to the game.

Pistons make it one more win!!

The Detroit Pistons got an impressive win last night, beating the Dallas Mavericks 90-67 at the palace. This was their 5th straight win. It is very important to beat tough opponents such as the Lakers, and the Mavs, especially with the recent slide of many teams. Pistons improve to 17-4 at home and are very excited to take on the competition.

Pistons win a close one

It was a clash between the Lakers from the west and the Pistons from the east. The two teams met in the Palace of Auburn Hills last night, and what a game it was. Kobe went out to score 39 points as well as back to back jumpers in the 4th quarter.

But with time running out, Prince shot the three which gave Detroit a one point lead. Kobe could not get the last shot off and the Detroit Pistons got a 90-89 win.

The Detroit Pistons got a win on sunday of preseason, beating the Denver nuggets 109-106. New man Hays was outstanding and was 8 for 8 from the line during the final quarter. Pistons are improving in many areas and are hoping for a big season. Detroit Basketball

Rookie power in D-town

Viewed by many as the steal of the 2007 NBA draft, Rodney Stuckey is determined to prove the league that Eastern Washington does produce good NBA leaders. Stuckey had a great last 2 seasons in college and impressed at Vegas after being selected. He is sure going to be electrifying to watch and will help D-town in more than just one way.
